Joan Jett and the Blackheart have announced that they will be joining Greenday and Paramore in Marlay Park this year.
The Marlay Park gig is being held on June 23rd (the first day of glastonbury for those not going to that) and as the days entertainment is being padded out. Joan Jett is the latest addition to a slowly building quality linup.
They will probably be best known for “i love rock and roll” which had a recent outing by britney spears but as with most covers, it was best left with the original artist. They also had a hit with Bad Reputation which is another instantly recognisable tune by them. Should fit right in with the current lineup.
