Jimmy Eat World to rock Dublin and Belfast

One of my absolute favourite pop-punk bands from my younger days when i was into the likes of Greenday, Blink-182, Rancid, No-Fx and Bad Religion and similar punk type bands, Jimmy Eat World were one of those class sing along, catchy pop punk radio friendly bands who were just awesome live.

I missed them in 2001 in some small venue in Dublin, but i caught them at Witness 2002. They were on the main stage around half 3 to 4pm and it was an unbelievable show.

This is your chance to catch another of these older guard pop punk bands with Greenday having been here recently, Blink-182 reforming and playing The O2 and now Jimmy Eat World are in town.

They play Tripod on Thursday 18th November 2010 and play Mandela Hall in Belfast on Wednesday 17th November 2010.

Tickets for the Belfast gig will be around £23.50 and Tripod will be €30.
