Welcome to this week’s round-up of the best new Irish music. Elaine Mai releases her long-awaited album ‘Home’ today with featuring guest appearances from MayKay, Loah, Ailbhe Reddy and the queen of the Irish bop Sinead White. This week’s other big release comes in the form of Rachel Mae Hannon’s debut EP ‘Like It Is’ both are well worth checking out (below).

In terms of singles it’s a varied week, cover star Aonair hooks up Wyvern Lingo’s Caoi De Barra for ’80s tinged bop Think Twice while NI’s Shibashi joins forces with music legend Candi Staton for their latest collab Open My Eyes

Ireland’s post-punk fraternity are out in force this week With new tracks from Odd Morris and Silverbacks who have just announced their second album ‘Archieve Material’ – the album’s cover was shot by GoldenPlec’s Roisin Murphy O’Sullivan (humble brag) and Fontaines D.C. share   a stripped down version of I Don’t Belong.

If R’N’B and hip hop’s more your thing we’ve got you covered with new releases from RikShaw & Max Zanga, Plantain Papi, BoyW1DR, while Shive makes a welcome return with Ha Ha Ha and Uly gets reflective on I Wouldn’t Mind A Boogie.
