It’s a bumper week for hip/hop and R’N’B releases with coverstar Monjola, fresh from his recent appearance at the 3Olympia delivering his latest smooth jam ‘Often’. It’s great to see Tolu Makay back doing what she does best with her first solo single in 2 years ‘Mind & Body’.

Power duo TravIS & Elzzz celebrate their bi-national heritage with ‘Naij Blood’, young king Trillz auditions for a bigger profile with the viby ‘Blowin’ Bags (Mayhem)’ while F3mii continues to shine following the release of ‘Lostwithoutyoumaria’, with a Chameleon powered remix of ‘From Your Eyes’.

The soulful Tim Chadwick delivers another smooth radio friendly slow jam in the form of ‘IOU’, meanwhile rising Irish popstar Neve – she’s currently opening for James Arthur on his European tour – delivers another note perfect slice of modern pop with ‘Midnight’.

In rock Havvk build towards the releases of their third album next month with the tongue-in-cheek Take It From Me, Northern Ireland’s best new band Virgins preview their debut album with ‘Softer’, Melts continue their transformation into a full on electro rock outfit with ‘Altered’ while Anamoe Drive aka Oisin from Thumper continues to showcase his softer side with ‘Procrastination’.

There’s also notable release from the likes of Annika Kilkenny, Laura Aidan, Siights, Greg Tisdall, Emma Noodles and Pauric O’Meara, while it’s great to see Emily 7 and The Hopeful Kind share their debut singles. We’re looking forwards to hearing more from both in the near future.

With almost a 100 Irish singles out this week it was hard to narrow down the selection never mind mention everybody.
