On this week’s round-up of the best new Irish music, we present new albums from Cork’s Ronan and Dublin’s Old sea Legs ands we cheat a bit and celebrate the 25th anniversary of Sack’s ‘Butterfly Effect’ which has been reissued today.

This week’s cover star is Crumlin’s finest KhakiKid who has previewed his upcoming EP with the excellent, woozy slice of hip hop ‘Woodstock’, Laois’s Caleb Kunle delivers soulful slice of nostalgia with ‘All In Your Head’. Dance duo, Strabe, build towards the release of their 10-track debut EP (sounds like a confused LP to us) with the release of ‘Magic.’

JC Stewart continues to collab with the great and good of the dance world on ‘Come Around Again’, while hot prospect Dermot Kennedy will hope to improve upon his paltry placement as the 444th most streamed act in the world on Spotify with the release of ‘Something To Someone’.

It’s great to see the return of 2021 Plec Pick act Tim Chadwick with electro-tinged ballad ‘You’re (Still) In Love’, while Lucy McWilliams previews her latest batch of songs with the demo version of  ‘The Woman in Me’ and Roe delivers a poignant live performance of ‘A Temporary Thing’, which was inspired by the death of her grandmother.

All this plus new tracks from Shane Codd, Ye Vagabonds, Pastiche, Katie Kim, Dani Larkin, Tolu Makay and Searchlight, Ghostking is Dead, Aoife Wolf, Jillelli, Zeinab, Emily7, Conor Marcus, R.L. Beat and more besides.

As ever, if you’d like to send us your music fill in the form here
