Irish artists to turn out to support Console charity gig

A big charity gig for Console entitled ‘A Night For Elliott Smith’ will be taking place next Monday in Whelan’s.

Niamh Farrell (Ham Sandwich), Ollie Cole, Shane O’Reilly, Dave McGuinness, Fiach & more are all scheduled to take part in the event to raise funds and mark the 10th anniversary of the death of US singer/songwriter Elliott Smith. The concert has been organised by Dublin South FM DJ John Byrne who says all the musicians involved are fans of Elliott Smith’s work.

Also on the bill for the event at Whelan’s are Cat Dowling, Barry O’Brien, Fiach Moriarty, Edisons, Eamon Brady, John Byrne and many more.
