Dublin grunge trio HAVVK released tongue-in-cheek pop-punk single ‘Take It From Me’ which highlights cartoonish scenarios of men speaking over women and taking credit for their ideas.

As lead singer Julie Hawk explains: “While it’s obviously serious, the song is also laughing in the face of these kind of eye-rollable scenes, which we should surely put behind us by now. I imagine it being sung by a sassy girl band of seven-year-olds performing it in the mirror and dressing up in their older sisters’ clothes.”

‘Take It From Me’ follows recent singles ‘You Say You Won’t’ and ‘City Creep’ is the latest preview track from the duo’s upcoming third album To Fall Asleep which arrives via Veta Records on March 15th.
