Every year there is a huge amount of speculation about the line-up for Electric Picnic with fake posters often adding a nice slice of comedy to the rumour mill and we can expect this year to be no different.

However, it looks like Bandsintown may have accidentally leaked the Electric Picnic line-up with a post on the site claiming that Rage Against The Machine are playing the event. It also lists the likes of Foals, Little Simz, Skepta, Snow Patrol, Denzel Curry, Joy Crookes, Lewis Capaldi and Arlo Parks as being on the line-up.

A total of 107 acts are listed as playing this year’s event in Stradbally including Run The Jewels, Just Mustard, James Vincent McMorrow, Franc Moody, Saint Sister, Jax Jones, Declan McKenna, Sigala, Bicep, Mabel and ’80s sensation Rick Astley.

Whether it’s true or not, isn’t it nice to see some festival excitement in the air again!
