GoldenPlec is delighted to bring you the music video for Raheny native Graham Mitchell’s latest single, Fantasy Breakup.

Fantasy Breakup describes a relationship that ended, but the good times shine through, as both people drift apart. It showcases the twenty-something year old’s knack for simplistic, catchy songwriting and the video, much like the song itself, is an understated affair filmed by Mark Doyle during his recent debut headline performance at Whelan’s and gives us a good sense of what to expect from one of his shows – laughs, emotions, and plenty of crowd participation.

Graham cut his teeth on the local pub and club circuit, supporting the likes of Damien Dempsey and Christy Dignam. The burgeoning singer-songwriter’s vocals have been compared to the likes of Donovan and Jackson Browne, while his original song Maria Browne – which recently featured in the Irish TV series Blood – is a soulful, bouncy number that has drawn comparison to acts as disparate as The Jam and “Faith”-era George Michael.

Other recent output includes include the staggering ballads Maybe You Can Call Me Sometime and You’ve Disappeared.

Fantasy Breakup is out now and is available to stream and download from all online stores and services including iTunes and Spotify now.
