The Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition 2019, in association with PRS for Music and the PRS Foundation is officially open as of today, with entries strictly closing on 4th February at 5pm.

Entries are welcome from any musical genre, with winners of the free-to-enter competition earning a slot on one of the main stages at this year’s festival as well as a£5,000 talent development prize.

Two runners-up will also be awarded a £2,500 talent development prize.

To enter, acts need to supply a link to one original song on SoundCloud (NB: the link must be accessible for judges to listen), plus a link to a video of themselves performing live, even if it’s only recorded in a bedroom.

This year’s Glastonbury, which is sold out, takes place from 26th-30th June 2019, with Stormzy the only headliner to be named so far.
