Gig of the Week: Feeder at The Academy

Another week another tough selection to be made! People think this is easy but truly it’s extremely hard to do, picking one over all the rest some weeks can be excruciating. First up we’re going to ignore Leaving Cert results night, as no good came come of that.

I was tempted to give gig of the week to Adebisi Shank, being that they have the new album out and it’s awesome, but i think everyone is giving them a good bit of promotion so i’m going to spare you from repitition (though i still recommend going to that gig it will be stellar)

This week i’m going with Feeder in The Academy. They also play Belfast in Mandela hall the night before, but Thursday will see them down here in Dublin. The gig i don’t think is sold out yet, which is why i chose it for GOTW. Feeder are absolutely class live. If your doing nothing Thursday, this is a awesome shout. Tickets cost €30

Other gigs this week include Belsonic up in Belfast thoughout the week, Adebisi Shanks Album launch on Friday in Whelans, Gavin Glass in Tonic, Estel featuring Steve Mackay in Crawdaddy, Besnard Lakes in Cyprus Avenue and Girls in The Academy.
