Eighteen year old internet sensation Gabrille Aplin is set to come to Dublin for her first Irish show. She has a host of videos on youtube showcasing her vocal and guitar talents covering songs ranging Katy Perry’s Teenage Dreams to Leonard Cohen/Jeff Buckley – Hallelujah. She has over 5 millions views on her youtube channel and a debut EP which peaked at 20 in the iTunes chart selling over 5,000 copies. Not bad for a girl you’ve probably never heard of yet.
She has just announced the release of her ‘Never Fade’ EP which is due on on May 9th 2011 and will be available exclusively on iTunes. The EP will coincide with a tour of the UK and Ireland.
She will be in Dublin on May 17th to play the Ruby Sessions in Doyles Pub. Admission is €6
