Probably the most intriguing development this week or maybe this year is the announcement of a new Dublin based festival pretty much on the edge of the city centre which should suit a lot of people called the Forbidden Fruits Festival which will be held on the meadows of the Irish Museum of Modern Art in The Royal Hospital, Kilmainham.
It is set to take place on June 4th and 5th over the bank holiday weekend with gates opening from 2pm to 10.45pm daily. Tickets for the event are €49.50 for day tickets and €90 for a weekend ticket. Limited runs of the early bird tickets will cost €45 and €85 for Day/Weekend respectively.
Not a bad lineup either with The Flaming Lips, Jape, Ham Sandwich, Aphex Twin, Battles, Caribou and more all set to play over the weekend. Here’s the lineup we have thus far and we believe that more are to be announced in the near future.
