Big theatre and music lineup announced for First Fortnight yesterday evening with Le Galaxie, We Cut Corner, Kopek, Vann, Roisin O, The Man Whom and This Club among the music acts playing this year.
There will be a mixed bag from The Therapy Sessions on Jan 2nd, 4th and 11th where you can get anything from music to poetry to literature. Guests will include Roisin O, This Club, dREA, The Man Whom, Chris Campbell and Dylan Tighe. The poetry and literature will be represented by Elaine Feeney, Sarah Clancy, Derry-based Abby Oliveira, the wildly funny Kalle Ryan, acclaimed poet Colm Keegan, John Cummins, Eddie Keegan, Come Rhyme With Me’s Una Mullally & Vickey Curtis and playwright and poet Stefanie Preissner. Admission is €5 on any of the nights.
The festival will close with a quartet of acts, set to blaze through The Button Factory including the awesome Le Galaxie, We Cut Corners, Kopek and Vann. It should be a great gig with so many brilliant acts on the bill and tickets are just €12. Expect this one to sell out.
