Having been thoroughly impressed by their performance at Electric Picnic 2014, we were eager to book electro outfit WOB! to play one of our gigs at the Workman’s Club in 2015, and as expected they delivered a memorable performance last April.

At the time they told us they were hard at work on their debut EP 'MOVE!' and twelve months on we are delighted to premiere one of the five tracks from MOVE! today. That track is Cosmos.

Cosmos explores a tropical indie electro soundscape mixing live and synthetic instrumentation, and features a special guest appearance by Floor Staff's Anthony Donnelly.

We can also reveal that WOB! have several exciting things planned for this year’s Electric Picnic, including a special collaboration with Jerry Fish at the Electric Sideshow and an intimate Sambass set (eclectic mix of Brazilian Samba, Bossa Nova and Drum&Bass) in a secret location at Electric Picnic on Sunday.

WOB! launch 'MOVE!' in Whelan’s Upstairs on Saturday 14th May at midnight. One hundred limited edition physical copies will be available on the night. Email wobdublin@gmail.com with your name and MOVE! as the subject to be added to the free list for the event.
