The first weekend of June is almost upon us, and, to quote Drake, 'that can only mean one thing ... '

Vantastival 2016 is upon us, and while good weather is never a guarantee, a great weekend is.

This is the festival's first year in its new home of Beaulieu House in Drogheda, but all the best parts of the festival remain - BYOB, great bands and loads of vans.

GoldenPlec are once again partnering with the festival to bring you the GoldenPlec Stage, where we will be showcasing some great artists over the two days.

Here's our picks for the best acts to check out over the weekend!
