One of our Plec Picks for 2015, Ensemble Ériu makes its National Concert Hall debut on Thursday 15 November, with a lunchtime performance in the John Field Room.

The septet, led by Jack Talty (concertina) and Neil O’Loghlen (double bass/flute), perform arrangements of Irish traditional music, exploring the styles of West and North County Clare alongside jazz and minimalism, in a selection of music from their albums ‘Ensemble Ériu’, ‘Imbas’, and ‘Stargazer’.

Set to be the group’s only live appearance of 2018, this should be a very special occasion.

Ensemble Ériu play the National Concert Hall’s John Field Room on Thursday 15 November, at 1.05pm: tickets (€18) on sale now.
