Emma Langford has just released the first video from her upcoming debut, ‘Quiet Giant’, which will be released on 18 October.
Closed Book is filmed in her native Limerick and strives to highlight a simple message: Limerick is a vibrant, beautiful, creative city with a deeply ingrained sense of community spirit. The song speaks to the person who is blind to that.
The video features a journey through Limerick city, with Langford herself taking the lead throughout. Commenting on the video, Langford says: “The brief for the video was to tell people who I am; What better way of doing that than by featuring the people and places that have molded me into the person and artist I am today? I also wanted to show how beautiful Limerick can be. That was important to me“.
