London based Stealth rockers (their term, not mine) Dry The River are coming to Dublin for their first ever Irish show.

Their first release in 2009 The Chambers & Valves EP was a massive success for the band and gave them a platform for bigger things. Since then they have supported the likes of Magic Numbers, Johnny Flynn, Plan B and Two Door Cinema Club amongst appearing at Glastonbury, Big Chill and Standon Calling. This year they got top reviews coming out of SXSW in Texas and now they are playing a little closer to home.

They will be here for a gig in The Academy 2 on Friday July 29th 2011. The gig costs €12 inclusive of booking fee and tickets are available from Friday June 10th from Ticketmaster.ie
