Vocalist Donna Dunne is back on the scene and seems to be honing in a slightly different direction to last time I caught her as she is declaring her style ‘Rockabilly for today’.
We actually remember catching Donna singing in The Slaughtered Lamb in Swords and I do remember he being a very good singer so it should be interesting to see what she is producing these days.
She will first be performing in The Sugar Club as part of the Burlesque & Cabaret Social Club evening. That is on December 16th 2011 and kicks off at midnight. Tickets for that show are €15.
She will then be playing an acoustic set, with Will Nolan on guitar and Niall O’Sullivan on trumpet when she drops into Whelans on December 18th with the show at 8pm.
