**UPDATE: MCD have just confirmed the date and support – tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am.**

It looks like the one and only David Byrne is to play Dublin 3Arena on 24th October.

David announced the news on his Twitter (while announcing his US and UK tour dates), before quickly taking down the tweet which confirmed the Dublin show, and re-uploading it without the Dublin date.

Hopefully, in time, the date will appear.

Benjamin Clementine is supporting him across the whole tour and will be expected to appear on the Dublin date also.

DIY Mag reported that the Dublin date will be going ahead.
