It’s nearly the festive period and as we edge closer to that acceptable time to talk about Christmas (yes TV advertising agencies, Christmas period starts in December not October) we can confirm that the lovely people at Christmas FM will return to our airwaves from November 29th at 8am.

As always a charity operation but this year reaching over 60% of the population thanks to support from the EBS and Irish Daily Mail and will aim to raise over €100,000 through donations through their website and text requests where the cost of the text is donated to charity.

Christmas FM will be available to stream anywhere in the world online at www.christmasfm.ie and there is now Android and iPhone apps for all us smart phone users out there. The station is staffed entirely by volunteers donating their time purely for the love of the festive season.

The station will broadcast live from the Alexander Hotel, Merrion Square and you can social network with them via www.facebook.com/christmasfm and www.twitter.com/christmasfm to share the spirit of the season by uploading photos, video links, talking to other listeners and creating your own Christmas blog on Christmasfm.ie
