Irish cellist Brian O’Kane has made himself known as one to watch since he won the took first prize at the Windsor Festival International String Competition, and the National Concert Hall are delighted to announce him as their ‘rising star’ recitalist for 2013. Brian is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and Guildford School of Music and Drama.
He will perform a programme of Bach, Rachmaninov and Brahms on May 14th at 8pm in the National Concert Hall. Tickets for this event are priced at €15, and are available to purchase from the National Concert Hall website ( www.nch.ie ) as well as from their box office (Tel: 01-417 00 00).
