Welcome to day 10 of our Advent countdown. We are feeling more and more festive as the days go by so we are turning the seasonal dial up to 11 with today’s track.
Most Advent Calendars offer you a chocolate for your endeavours, but for opening our link, we’ll reward you with a video from an Irish act from across the years. We’ll be using a mix of playful tracks, covers and originals by Irish artists of all varieties. There is no specific order to it, it’s not a top 25, it’s more 25 great tracks we want to share.
Sweet Jane is a favourite here at Goldenplec and we were thrilled to come across their version of Christmas hymn, Silent Night. The song was the b-side to the band’s 2010 single You’re Making this Hard. This is a beautiful version of a classic tune that will make you feel instantly festive if you don’t already.
