Cavan singer-songwriter Aine Cahill, best known for the track Black Dahlia has signed a major label recording contract with Warner Music UK.

“I’m really excited and grateful to be working with Warner Music! It’s cheesy to say but it really is a dream come through.” says Cahill on signing the deal. “I want to thank everyone who has helped me along the way.”

It’s an exciting time for Cahill whose final release as an independent artist Blood Diamonds is set for release on October 27^th, the same day as her contribution to the Joshua Tree New Roots covers album – Red Hill Mining Town – drops.

Warner Music’s decision to snap Cahill comes as no surprise to GoldenPlec as we tipped Aine for big things in our Plec Picks series back in 2016.

Cahill is currently supporting JP Cooper on his European Tour which rolls into Dublin for a rescheduled date on November 29th.
