14 names have been chosen by Music From Ireland to represent Ireland on the grandest musical stage of them all, SXSW. This is where legend can begin and where you might find your next favourite act.
Angela Dorgan, head of First Music Contact has high hopes for this years line up, “Following the success of acts like Hozier and The Strypes last year, all eyes are on the Irish lineups this year. We have been inundated with bookings for our Breakfast party so I look forward to seeing who takes up where they left off last year and takes the American audiences by storm”
Brendan Millar of FMC adds “This year we’ll also be live streaming the Full Irish Breakfast on RTE TEN, over the past few months we’ve worked closely with RTE TEN to bring the live gig experience to the folks at home and we’re delighted to include our Texas day show in this initiative”
The MFI showcases will run March 18th & 20th and Ireland will be represented by the following acts.
