The RHA (Royal Hibernian Academy) will be hosting a special event which aims to celebrate Irelands contemporary culture and launches the RHA’s new pop-up shop.

It will take place in the stunning gallery spaces that the RHA has at it’s disposal and will feature a soundtrack of Electro Disco, House and Funk courtesy of DJs Billy Scurry, Aidan Kelly, Morgan, Ivan Varian, Eoin Long & Hugh Scully – and boasting some of Ireland’s leading visual artists, I ? RHA will showcase, entertain and celebrate.

“This is all about introducing the gallery to new people as well as showing the space in a new light,” explains . “RHA supports contemporary art and artists in Ireland through exhibition, education and advocacy so we’re very excited to host this event to launch our new RHA Pop-up Shop – a space where a collection of up & coming creative talents have been selected to showcase their work for periods of between one and two weeks and delivers Dublin an exciting and eclectic mix of shops and products which will appeal to those looking to find unique pieces by emerging designers”.

It will also feature an exhibition by the Academy’s members and some of Irelands emerging artists including work by Liam Belton RHA, Michael Cullen RHA, Alice Maher ARHA, Michelle Considine, Bennie Reilly and Sinéad Ni Mhaonaigh.

The event is on Friday March 4th from 9pm till late, Donations will be accepted on the door giving free 1 years friends membership and will take place in the RHA Gallery, 15 Ely Place, Dublin 2.

The RHA is an artist led organisation with charitable status. The pop up shop they are launching will offer prime city centre retail space to selected start-up business to promote and sell their produce.
