Westport 2013 launches with further additions to lineup

Right have you all simmered down about Longitude now? We decided to keep this news till later today so that it doesn’t go missing under a sea of interest in that festivals announcement. Elsewhere in Dublin last night, Westport launched itself officially and now that we have your attention we wanted to tell you about some acts they added last night.
Joining those already announced like Elvis Costello, Imelda May and more are….
Alabama 3, Damien Dempsey, Ryan Sheridan, Hayseed Dixie, The Grand Parade, L.A.P.D., Jack L duets, Sharon Corr, I Draw Slow, The Clew Bay Pipe Band, Hermitage Green and New Sunset Hotel.
They also announced a comedy tent that will feature, Phil Jupitus, Barry Murphy, Bernard O’Shea, Joe Rooney, Karl Spain, Danny Dowling and Colin Murphy. Tickets for the event are €75 for an adult day ticket and €130 for a weekend ticket.
