TXFM 2014

So Phantom is off the air and its successor, TXFM has confirmed it will launch on Monday 31st March 2014.

The station will be broadcasting on 105.2FM across Dublin and will have a blend of old and new on the lineup. Cathal Funge will be educating you on your way to work while Claire Beck will be rocking with you through late Morning and lunch. Joe Donnelly moves to the drive time slot while Kelly-Anne Byrne takes the 7 – 10pm run.

Ten til Midnight will be shared among Cathal Funge, Nialler9, Gavin Glass, Brian Keaveney and Derek Byrne while Weekends will see Totally Dublin, Nadine O’Regan, John Caddell, Dee Reddy, Orlagh Donnelly, Bodytonic and more. The focus of TXFM will be a bit more broad with  everything from alternative rock and Americana, to modern soul and electronica and the whole resurgence of vinyl as a format. There will be a strong commitment to contemporary Irish music across the schedule.

TXFM will broadcast live on Monday at 8am with its new breakfast show, hosted by Cathal Funge.

We’ve spent the past couple of weeks really honing the schedule, the on-air team and our unique approach to music, which we believe will really give us a point of difference within the Dublin music market.
