Twenty one years ago the iconic independent record store, Tower Records, opened up on Wicklow Street. Today after 21 years, they move on to pastures new with a brand new shop over in Dawson Street.
Formerly the Waterstones building, Tower Records will find a new home with shiny new packaging all over for their thousands of regular and loyal customers. Those people are loyal because of the fantastic love and attention to detail that is lavished on the store from management through to staff all exuding a passion for their work.
Over 100,000 CD’s,DVD’s and LPs are in the new store with an extended vinyl area for those classic format lovers. There also will be a dedicated classical room, the only one of its kind in Ireland. Lots to see and do, head down to Tower and check out their new digs.
