Having sold out Limerick, Cork and Belfast, he followed that up by announcing two dates in Nowlan Park in Kilkenny, with a cracking billing that including Glen Hansard and Damo Dempsey supporting on the Saturday and LAPD and Imelda May on the Sunday.
Don’t bother looking for tickets, it’s sold out, but the promoters aren’t done treating you as today they added Josh Ritter to the Saturday lineup and Delorentos to the Sunday lineup. Special buses and a ‘Wrecking Ball Weekender’ train will be scheduled on both days to transport audiences from Dublin to Kilkenny, returning to Dublin later that evening.
