Electric Picnic: Arcadia returns and Salty Dog stage gets some acts

Arcadia will be back at Electric Picnic this year bringing it’s Afterburner Structure to the festival and as the Sun descends on Stradbally, The Goldenplec flames will be ramped up to 8 metres high and will light up everything around.

There will be performers and acrobats on hand to entertain on the 6 tentacles and a constant line-up of DJ’s. DJ’s include Skuzzi Port (live) Fernado Tomas,  Lectrosoul (Warren k and Rocky),  Mcmash Clan, Arveen,  Soul Of Man, Noise Control (live), Wonka ,N oisy Boy & Mc Carasel, Worries Outernational, Mixhell (Live), The Japanese Popstars, Splitloop.

As with last year, The Salty Dog stage returns to Stradbally with it’s unique shipwrecked stage marooned in the wood. It’s the kind of stage you catch something a little more intimate and random as you happen to be passing by in the woods and find someone fantastic playing. The stage will feature the likes of Seasick Steve and The Mighty Stef (both already on the lineup) and add Sligo band Tucan and Candaian Rocker Joel Plaskett as well as the venerable and delightful Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club.
