The second album from Deaf Joe, From The Heights Of A Dream, is set for a release on Delphi on 28th February 2014 as a limited edition CD and hardbound book. There will also be a stream and download of the album too.
Joe has written a short book to accompany the album that he worked on with artist Paul Hallahan. The story of the music is set to run in parallel with the art and there will only be a limited edition run of 200 hardbound books complete with the CD.
Joe said, “I was reading a lot about the history of the Troubles in the North, and found myself referencing what I was reading with current news stories online. Journalism today has this way of telling very sad stories that, if you let them affect you, leave you sitting there feeling powerless against the mindless evil that’s apparently everywhere in the world. It’s a very scary place to get stuck.”
