Hermitage GreenClonmel’s Junction Festival is set to return for ten days from the 4th to the 13th of July. The theatre and music festival will also feature a myriad of art installations, guerrilla art events and more.

The music programme includes a live performance from the globetrotting Hermitage Green in Bakers Bar with American roots band Uproot Hootinany.

For opera fans, a special performance of Gluck’s ‘Orfeo and Eurydice‘ will take place in the atmospheric setting of Old St Mary’s Church on the 4th of July, with soloists German counter tenor Roland Schneider and soprano Jennifer Davis a native of Cahir, Co Tipperary.

Legendary Zimbabwian guitarist Oliver Tiku Mtukudzi will also be making his Irish debut in Clonmel, but that’s not all, free daily concerts will take place in the middle of the town each weekday at lunchtimes and on Saturday afternoons.
