Dublin-City-Soul-Festival

The Soul Picnic is back and kicking into gear this weekend. It’s a late announcement but if the sun finds its way back to us for the weekend, it could be a fantastic day out.

It’s set for July 26th and 27th and has become part of the Laya City Spectacular. The event will run 12pm-6pm and like every year its jammed with people so arrive early if you want a decent spot. Admission is free but there’s a minimum suggest donations of €5 which goes straight to the Musical Youth Foundation who help disadvantaged kids learn instruments, which has proven successful in helping these children retain focus in school.

The €5 donation gets you a free Raffle ticket (on the first 2,000 donations) for a raffle of instrument art. There will be plenty of food on offer over the weekend, there’s also the music side of things and there’s a great list of acts worth catching down in Merrion Square.
