Bell X1 join De La Soul and Bastille as headliners for this years Indiependence festival 2013. Their new album Chop Chop is only just released and the band have been touring the country high and low to support it including now hitting Cork for the Indiependence Festival.

Also just announced is the Indie13 Comedy Tent will be headlined by the bestselling author of Irish Mammy, Cork’s Colm O’Regan. He’ll be joined by Gearoid Farrelly (So You Think You’re Funny) and MC David Reilly. Also during the weekend you can catch Conor O’Toole, Simon Mulholland, George Fox, Damon Blake, Edwin Sammon, Aidan Greene, Cian McGarrigle, Allison Spittle, The Glen Coco Experience, Colin Chadwick, Giles Brody, Kevin McGahern, Kevin Goldsmith, Jim Elliot and Accident & Emergency.

Cork’s Underground Film Festival crew will be showcasing some of Europe’s finest award winning short films, a Bier Halle which will feature craft beers, a games area and an indoor stage. There will also be a Spoken Word Stage headlined by Jinx Lennon and will feature Nagasaki Suntans, Colm Keegan, Stephen James Smith, Fergus Costello, Abby Oliveira and Wasps vs Humans.
