Winners of the King Kong Company Buzzers Bursary Announced

You’ll remember that three months ago, King Kong Company put out a call for candidates for their inaugural Buzzers Bursary. KKC made the studio stems of two of their tracks available for producers and mixers to rearrange as they saw fit, with the best remix netting its creator €1000 (you can check out the top ten scoring entries here).

In total there were 12 votes, 11 from the KKC crew and 1 from the public (2,100 votes in total), and after many hours of deliberation the band have named DJ’s/producers Konmak X Marty Guilfoyle recipients of the €1000 inaugral King Kong Company Buzzers Bursary with this remix of KKC banger, iPop – iPop (Konmak X Marty Guilfoyle Mix)

You can catch Konmak X Marty Guilfoyle playing live on Saturday April 8^th when the will be joining King Kong Company in The Academy, Dublin. Our advice is to get your tickets fast, the band’s last visit to the venue was a sell-out (and a stormer of a gig).
