Dublin six piece White McKenzie are set for their debut album release almost a year after they got together.
It’s been a rather big year for the band who started playing live late 2010 and since then found themselves in the grand final of a battle of the bands to play for a place at Glastonbury 2011. They narrowly missed out and since have focused on getting their debut release out.
The result is ‘Absence’ which is scheduled for release on September 30th, conveniently in line with their gig in The Grand Social on the same day. They also will appear in Tower Records earlier that day too around 2pm. So busy day for the lads. The doors open at 8pm, admission is €7 and support on the night comes from Niall McGarty and Eric McGrath.
