If you’ve been to a music festival ever…. One of the most popular things after the bands are finished is the Silent Disco. The concept is simple, two DJs, a whole load of wireless headphones, some shifty dance moves and the hilarity of removing your headphones to hear the entirety of the venue singing along to two different songs… pretty out of tune.
Whelan’s will be hosting a Silent Disco every Wednesday night from 11pm – 3am. It’s free entry before midnight and €5 after and it will be a night filled with drink promo’s too. So if you fancy a midweek boogie, a bit of a sing along, then bash down to Whelan’s anytime from 11pm on a Wednesday, if you don’t like what one DJ is playing, switch over to the second DJ for something fresh.
