Last year saw the arrival of a new one day camping boutique private party incorporating music, art, performance and food in site specific locations in West Cork. Way Of The West was organised by a group of friends, on a strict non-profit basis, supporting local and international artists and musicians. Way Of The West 2018 featured performances from Talos, Icelandic artist Jófríður Ákadóttir (JRDR), VAAL, Sally Cinnamon, Toby Hatchett, Ben Bix, and Jackson Dyer, among others.
This year sees the return of Way Of The West and they want to extend the invitation to music loving, like-minded folk to share this experience of music, culture and art in secret locations in stunning West Cork, with food from Michelin starred chef Adam Kavanagh to whet your appetite, and exceptional performances from a host of talent including:
Anna Mieke // Ben Bix // Bon Voyage // Colm K // Dowry – Éna Brennan // KNEECAP // Junior Brother // Meltybrains? // Run Child Run // Sam Clague & Les Clague // Shamon Cassette
Across four locations amongst the wilds of West Cork, you will be taken on a journey encompassing landscape, music, art and food:
