Last year saw the arrival of a new one day camping boutique private party incorporating music, art, performance and food in site specific locations in West Cork. Way Of The West was organised by a group of friends, on a strict non-profit basis, supporting local and international artists and musicians. Way Of The West 2018 featured performances from Talos, Icelandic artist Jófríður Ákadóttir (JRDR), VAAL, Sally Cinnamon, Toby Hatchett, Ben Bix, and Jackson Dyer, among others.

This year sees the return of Way Of The West and they want to extend the invitation to music loving, like-minded folk to share this experience of music, culture and art in secret locations in stunning West Cork, with food from Michelin starred chef Adam Kavanagh to whet your appetite, and exceptional performances from a host of talent including:

Across four locations amongst the wilds of West Cork, you will be taken on a journey encompassing landscape, music, art and food:

  • Fully equipped campsite with stunning views over Roaringwater Bay(location will be provided to ticketholders)
  • Opening Ceremony, Lunch and various art installations/workshops in a Baby Forest
  • Wild Foraged, Long Table dinner by Michelin starred guest chef Adam Kavanagh in a beautiful walled garden.
  • Intimate musical performances at unique locations featuring some of the best, young, Irish and International musicians, including:

Way of the West is a non-profit event. As with last year, a full and comprehensive breakdown of the costs involved in putting together the day are available, with every euro of each ticket raised being used to make the event happen.

There are strictly 100 places available and are sold on a first come, first served basis.
