Iggy Pop approved Welsh indie rockers The Tubs  have announced a show in The Workman’s Cellar for April 2025. The group  formed by Owen Williams and George Nicholls won acclaim for their 2023 debut album ‘Dead Meat’ won critical acclaim and became an old school word of mouth sensation.

Iggy Pop praised them on his BBC 6Music radio program while actor Mark Proksch (The Office (US), Better Call Saul, What We Do in the Shadows) starred in the video for their ‘Round the Bend’ and the group look set to become even bigger with the release of their new album ‘Cotton Crown’ featuring new single Freak Mode.

The Tubs live at The Workman’s Cellar on Saturday 5th April. Tickets €21.00 (including booking fee) on sale Friday 22nd November at 10:00.
