Sorcha Durham has announces details of her debut solo EP ‘All I Wanted’ which is set for release on Friday 26th May 2023. Durham experienced chart success as a member of the very successful Irish pop group Walking On Cars, but is now taking centre stage with her solo material which leans into a much more atmospheric pop sound as displayed on singles ‘Fireside’ and ‘Heart & Soul’.

“Making music is a fundamental part of my being so I naturally turned to that to help me process everything,” explains Durham who took some time off from music following the breakup of Walking On Cars.“Combining the organic sound of the piano and my voice with electronic elements like vintage synths and Drum machines is what really excites me.”

“These songs are my first chance to tell my own story,” she notes of her experience as a solo artist so far. ‘All I Wanted’ was mostly recorded at home with ‘real piano’ added in Monique Recording Studios in Cork, with live drums added by Alex Ridley (Dáithí, Houseplants).
