2021 PlecPicks artist Mollie Wrafter has just been awarded the RDS Jago Award, second prize in the prestigious RDS Music Bursary Programme, which wins her a prize fund of €5,000 as well as a solo engagement with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.

Having graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester in 2020 with first-class honours, Mollie plans further study at Codarts Rotterdam Conservatory in September, working with acclaimed violinist Vesna Gruppman. Before then, she heads to Canada this July with her ensemble, the Treske Quartet, to take part in the Evolution: Quartet 2022 Residency at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.
