Limerick art-rock trio Slow Riot have shared the dreamlike video for new single Pink December out now on Straight Lines Are Fine. The woozy video for Pink December sees Slow Riot teaming up with Polish director Lukasz Pytlik once again to create atmospheric palette of acid visuals, VHS filters and oblique symbolism.

“We wanted to do something totally different from the ‘Absent Dreams’ video yet retain the hallucinatory atmosphere first touched on there,” says Lukasz Pytlik. “Whereas that video was very slick and polished with a sci-fi feel, ‘Pink December’ was to be the opposite; lo-fi, hazy and very underground. It’s definitely more cerebral than an octopus with demonic powers!”

Pink December was produced by Kevin Vanbergen (The Pixies, The Maccabees, Dinosaur Pile-Up, The La’s and Biffy Clyro) who previously produced Slow Riot’s debut EP ‘Cathedral’ at the Manic Street Preachers’ FASTER studio in Cardiff.
