Choice Music Prize AND Meteor Award Nominee Valerie Francis is set for a gig in Whelans on February 27th 2010.
Valerie has had quite the last 12 months with her debut album Slow Dynamo being widely well recieved and named Irish Album of the year 2009 by the Irish Independent.
Her Video “Punches“, directed by talented video director Eoghan Kidney who has received acclaim for his recent work, won IMTV’s Video of the Year, and with the nominations already for 2 award ceremonies this year it looks like 2010 could be as great a year as 2009 by all accounts.
She plays Whelan’s, Saturday 27th of February for the princely sum of €15 and tickets are on sale now (Ticketmaster, Tickets.ie & WAV)
