Duke said

“After performing at a small festival in New York in March 2010, I was asked by Spectrum, an initiative of the Museum, to visit them the following day. They wanted me to consider a collaboration with the Department of Photographs and an exhibition of the work of Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Steichen and Paul Strand.”

Duke will be going into the studio shortly to record the songs with the RTE Concert Orchestra, which will be available on CD and to download from October 31st (and the CD will be available for sale at the shows)

Duke Special’s follow-up album to “I never thought this day would come” is due in March 2012.
