You can check it out here, exclusively on GP, on Monday 3rd of November. So make sure to drop back in and give the full EP a listen (it’s a stormer of a release if you must know).
In an interesting move, the lads shot and edited the above promo for their upcoming EP. Speaking of the video, lead singer Mike Paterson explains how the idea came about. “Our EPs artwork is a hand drawn sketch by Aran’s [McGillick] girlfriend, which we absolutely adore. She drew a couple of pictures of myself and Aran once, so we decided to ask her to do the cover … So we decided to stick with this theme for the video. We dressed our rehearsal room in dust sheets and with handheld camera we shot different angles of the band.”
He continues: “When editing we had decided that while music videos are important, as music lovers, it is about listening to the song not just watching it with graphics. So we kept it simple and short creating imagery for one minute of the song. I guess our point is yes every musician needs a good video to gain some new listeners but never forget it is about the music.”
