Ah yes, It really wouldn’t be Electric Picnic 2012 if the much loved fund raisers that offers music lovers a way to mix raising money with getting a free ticket to Electric Picnic wasn’t around.
We love the concept and you probably already know it, however for those who don’t, Tour De Picnic is a cycle from Dublin to Electric Picnic music festival in Stradbally, a distance of 82km. In just 2 years of running it has raised over €600,000 for childrens charities.
40 people did it in 2009, and they tell us they are hoping for 1000 in 2012. You have to raise a minimum of €380 to participate but you get the following for your support.
