Indie/post rock American band Tortoise from Chicago are crossing the Atlantic and hitting up Whelans in July.
The day might not be the most well advised day for a gig, Whelans on July 9th (First Day of Oxegen Festival 2010) but all the same for those of us without a ticket it could be a top way to forget what else is going on.
Tickets are €29 and will be on sale next week. They will be out promoting their last album Beacons of Ancestorship
