The second artist to announce to play The Iveagh Gardens is the supremely talented Tori Amos.
She has been revamping herself of late after dropped Epic records and deciding to work independently of record labels and instead just signing a distribution deal with Universal republic to distribute the goods. She released “Abnormally attracted to sin” and “Mid Winter Graces” in 2009 and continues to work diligently free of the shackled of a label by working on music for the musical The Light Princess and recording vocals for David Byrne/Fatboy Slim collaboration album “Here Lies Love” and also has done a duet with Cyndi Lauper called “Why Don’t You Love Me”
So she’s been a rather busy girl, now she will play The Iveagh Gardens on July 16th 2010 with tickets for the event going on sale Thursday April 22nd for €45 a ticket.
